Au Revoir Odemwingie?

Odemwingie
Yet another key LOSC player may leave the club. VfB Stuttgart, is negotiating with Lille to recruit the Nigerian striker. Several other major LOSC players have left during this transfer season: Keita, Bodmer, Tavlaridis, and Chalmé. Peter Odemwingie’s last season was disappointing. The main Les Dogues striker only scored a mere 5 goals. We needed him to come up big in the Champions League against Manchester United. Odemwingie failed to do so. VfB Stuttgart, are the current champions of the Bundesliga. I am amazed that they even want him after his lackluster performance last season. Although, Odemwingie underachieved last season I do not believe it is fair to get rid of him now. If he does poorly next Ligue 1 season then he should go. Do you think he should get the boot after one tough season? Also the Metz-Lille match has been moved to Sunday, August 12 at 18 H (France time).

That blows. He did underperform last year, but that happens to all players. And it’s not Puel has way better options on the team either. Is Lille in debt? Because I get the feeling they are trying to raise money.

Lille has got very few constant strikers, examples such as Manchev, Moussilou and now Odemwingie are many. I wonder why it is so difficult to hire more pauletas. Now If Lille sells Odem for 10 M€ they MUST find a pearl for 15-20 M€ they have the money.

Inara, I don’t think Lille is in debt (I am 99.9% sure), but it sure seems like they are.
