Transfer News: Makoun, Sylva
By: Julien | May 14th, 2008
LOSC defensive midfielder Jean II Makoun has been attracted by yet another club. Ligue 1 powerhouse and potential 2007/2008 season titleholder Olympique Lyonnais has shown interest in the Cameroon. Supposedly, Lyon needs him to reinforce Jérémy Toulalan on defense. There have been rumors about Tony Sylva’s departure. The rumor emerged after the 33 year old keeper was scratched for the last two matches of the season. Sylva’s contract is set to expire soon. Claude Puel has stated that he has no problem with Sylva. Sylva is just studying an offer. This September Ludovic Obraniak may become officially Polish. His goal is to join the Polish National Team for the Euro 2012.

If Makoun comes to Lyon, the team needs to be renamed Olympique Lillyonnais.
