Seydoux’s Pointless Interview With Mercato 365, and Odemwingie Linked to Werder Bremen
By: Julien | July 16th, 2007
Mercato365.com recently interviewed Michel Seydoux, LOSC Lille Métropole club chairman. There wasn’t really anything interesting that Seydoux touched on in the interview (what a surprise!). Regarding the club’s status during this transfer period, Seydoux said that the strong structure of the club already exists, which is shocking. Is he really that complacent? He must be kidding. Seydoux is almost as bad as the executives of Sony Computer Entertainment that still believe the Playstation 3’s price is fine and that they don’t need to seek companies to develop exclusive games for the PS3 (”We have a very different approach to exclusives than some of our competitors. We don’t buy exclusivity. We don’t fund development. We don’t, for the lack of a better term, bribe somebody to only do a game on our platform” –Jack Tretton, SCEA President and CEO). I think the best we can do in the table next season with our current squad is lower mid-table (around 11th). He also said the club is active, reactive, tranquil, and serene. Thank you, Michel, for the long list of adjectives (sarcasm). Your wishful thinking is reassuring all the LOSC fans (more sarcasm). When asked about Djemba-Djemba possibly donning the rouge et blanc maillot, he advised people to be cautious of transfer rumors. I guess according to Seydoux it’s wrong to be excited for appealing players. He also said the club isn’t attractive, because LOSC is missing a stadium. Seydoux has to go. He seems to be a gibberish and excuse machine. Blah blah blah we need a stadium blah blah blah the club’s roster is fine blah blah blah. Yes, it’s true we need a new stadium, but we also need a competent and strong squad of players. His whining and complacency is getting the club nowhere. Lets release Les Dogues on this guy.
In the Seydoux/Mercato 365 interview, Seydoux said that Odemwingie is attracting offers left and right. Thanks for telling us something we already know yet again (sarcastic thank you)! He really is Captain Obvious isn’t he? Four-time German champions, SV Werder Bremen, are also interested in Peter Odemwingie. The Nigerian striker has interested numerous clubs including: Spartak Moscow, Lokomotiv Moscow, FC Shakhtar Donetsk, VfB Stuttgart, and SSC Napoli. His future is still unknown. I hope we get a decent amount of money for transferring him.

I though he already transfered to Spartak, tmw.com which is very reliable said he did.

What are the chances of Odemwingie staying?
And I suppose this Seydoux brother is less ambitious than his brother, Jerome.

“What are the chances of Odemwingie staying?”
I don’t think very likely. I think his poor form last season really hurt his image in the eyes of the club’s management.“I though he already transfered to Spartak, tmw.com which is very reliable said he did.”
I am 99.9% sure he didn’t transfer. LOSC’s official site, Mercato 365,allezlelosc,allezlesdogues, and Eurosport.fr do not have him transferred to Spartak. They are all really reliable sites. What is tmw.com? I tried going to their site and it just takes me to Men’s Wearhouse Clothing For Men. When I searched tmw.com on google I did find a football site (tuttomercatoweb). Is that what you mean? If so, I wouldn’t trust an Italian website over several reliable French websites. Eurosport,Mercato 365, and those Lille fansites I mentioned are notable.
