Mirallas’ Options: Tottenham, Espanyol, Marseille.

Several clubs are after LOSC sensation Kevin Mirallas. The Belgium international has attracted Tottenham, Espanyol Barcelona, Marseille, Bordeaux, ASSE, and PSG. No surprise at all considering Mirallas’ enthusiasm and drive towards the goal. He already has several Rode Duivels (Belgium National Football Team) caps. Tottenham and Espanyol could really further Kevin’s career. He would really shine in the EPL and La Liga. I highly doubt that Seydoux will let Mirallas slip away, but then again Puel may slip away from us.

Lille Up Against More Competition For Itandje
Lille is facing tough competition for Charles Itandje. The Liverpool keeper is coveted by Lille, Le Mans, and now AS Monaco. Out of the three clubs Lille is the best choice for him. He will get plenty of playing time here if he makes it over. We would just continue benching Grégory Malicki who is horrible by the way. Tant pis pour Malicki! I would love to see him in our goal. I think he is a worthy replacement for Tony Sylva.

Roland Juhasz: LOSC and ASSE are considering Hungarian defender Roland Juhasz. His contract with Anderlecht runs till 2011. Player profile:

Vahid Halilhodžić May Manage Lille Again?
Several media outlets have confirmed Puel’s move to Olympique Lyonnais. It is only a matter of time now really. Today, Dauphiné Libéré unveiled that Claude Puel signed with Lyon last Wednesday. Former Lille manager Vahid Halilhodžić was asked if he would return to Lille. He is currently Côte d’Ivoire’s coach. His response:
“I can’t respond to that question, it would be good for Côte d’Ivoire. But everyone says that I think about LOSC, I have the club still in my heart. But to those fans that have not forgotten me I say: one of these days maybe”. Lille performed very well under Halilhodžić taking us from Ligue 2 to almost the top of Ligue 1 in just a few seasons. His return would be an adequate replacement for Claude Puel. Let’s hope that he can come to Lille and pick up where Puel left off.
