LOSC Internationals: Sylva, Mirallas, Lichtsteiner, Makoun
By: Julien | August 23rd, 2007
Several international matches took place this week, and many LOSC players were called up by their respective country. Kévin Mirallas had his first cap for the Belgian national team. He scored the second goal of the Belgium/Serbia match. Stefan Lichtsteiner played in the Swiss match against the Netherlands. Surprisingly, the Swiss won 2-0! Makoun’s Les Lions Indomptables (Équipe du Cameroun de football) beat Japan 2-0. Finally, Lille’s star goalkeeper, Tony Sylva, played an entire match for Sénégal. Unfortunately Les Lions de la Teranga (Sénéga) tied with Ghana 1-1.
