Lille’s first away match of the season was played yesterday at Stade Saint-Symphorien, the home of FC Metz. The newly promoted FC Metz, was last year’s champion of Ligue 2. They started their season with an away loss to Le Mans. Les Dogues started their season with a tie against Lorient at home. Line-ups courtesy of irie-jaffa:

More match impressions tommorow. I have not been able to see the match yet. Sounds like it was very close. Lille barely came up with a win.

At least it’s a win.
Maric is quite good - Puel has such a good eye for underrated talent.
