Lille Moves Up In The Table After Nantes Victory
By: Julien | November 1st, 2008
LOSC played struggling FC Nantes today in the French Ligue 1. The match was played at Lille’s home stadium, Stadium Lille Métropole. Last week, Lille disappointed by drawing Grenoble 0-0. This week, however, Les Dogues did not disappoint. After three nuls, we obtain a sweet victory. Lille won by a large margin, 2-0 thanks to goals from Rami and Fauvergue at the closing minutes of the first half that ended the match early. What it really came down to was Les Canaris’ lack of Ligue 1 experience. They were just promoted this season to the top division of French football. Lille, as of today, is 5th in the table, but that could change tomorrow if Le Mans manages to defeat Olympique Lyonnais (unlikely though). Next week Lille battles PSG at the beloved Parc des Princes.

The awesome thing is that you guys have a really good chance of winning at the Parc, PSG have been pretty crap lately.
