Home Victory Stops Slip In Ligue 1 Table
By: Julien | November 16th, 2008
A home victory on Saturday against struggling ASSE maintained Lille’s 7th place in the Ligue 1 table. Les Dogues solidly took out AS Saint-Étienne. Lille hurt Les Verts early in the 1st period with two goals. Then a red card on Matuidi complicated things significantly for the visitors. A late Vittek goal basically ended the match for Saint-Étienne. ASSE’s Janot was kept busy in the first half and his form wasn’t great throughout the match. He let in a total of three goals. Rudi Garcia can be happy about our well rounded scoring. Three different players scored in yesterday’s match (Hazard, Obraniak, Vittek). Match facts:

What is your opinion of Bastos? How much longer do you think LOSC will be able to keep him?
