Bienvenue Tahirovic: Les Dogues Recruit One More

LOSC has confirmed today that Emra Tahirovic has been signed to Lille. The cost is reportedly around 15 million euros. Tahirovic is a 19 year old Bosnian striker. He has 1 selection for the Bosnian U-19 squad. He has been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Like Zlatan, Tahirovic is described as a solid and technical forward, and he is Bosnian and Scandinavian. His former club was the Halmstads BK, a club in the top division of Swedish football (Allsvenskan). During Allsvenskan’s last season, Tahirovic scored six goals in 26 matches. The LOSC management considers him to be another promising player along with Yanes, and Béria. He seems interesting, but can these new players take us back to the UEFA Champions League next year? I remain doubtful.
