Lille Barely Takes Out Toulouse
By: Julien | April 29th, 2008
Last Saturday, Lille played a home match against Toulouse FC. They barely won the match and they conceded 2 goals. Final score 3-2. The goal scorer of the month, Kevin Mirallas, scored two goals for us. Michel Bastos scored on a penalty. Lille stays in 6th place of the table. Far away from even UEFA Cup qualification. If Lille beat St. Etienne next week, you’ll be in 5th, and that’s one spot away from Europe. Admittedly everything hinges on how Nancy perform, but they always implode in the last few weeks of the year.
